How much food will be eaten on the tour?
Prepare to eat, this is a food tour after all 🙂 Please feel free to have a snack before the tour, but we do not recommend having a full meal shortly before the tour starts. Guests eat a fair amount of food over the three hours.
What places do we go to on the tour?
We carefully select our tour stops through conducting significant research. Our mission is to take guests to off-the-beaten-path places, which are authentic and interesting.
Our tours combine stops at local restaurants, historical places, and shops. For more detail on the stops that take place on specific tours, please visit a tour-specific page. Please note that for a given tour there are normally 5-6 stops. Based on guests’ food restrictions and the availability of our restaurant partners, we sometimes modify our tour stops.
Is it for locals?
Yes! We receive guests from around the world, including close to home. Our tours provide a great adventure for you to better explore your region.
Do you accommodate all dietary restrictions?
We cannot accommodate all food preferences/restrictions. However, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please note that we include further information on what dietary restrictions we can likely accommodate on tour-specific pages. In order for us to best serve you, please let us know any food preferences/restrictions when you book a tour through our sign-up form. It is very challenging for us to make potential accommodations if we are notified on the day of the tour. Please also note that we may not be able to accommodate all food preferences/restrictions for every stop of the tour.
Can children go on the tours?
Our tours are a good fit for children over the age of ten. We do not recommend bringing children under the age of ten as the tour is not designed for a younger age level. If minors are attending the tour, they must be accompanied by an adult.
Are your tours wheelchair accessible?
Private tours are customizable and can be wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, our tour in the Junction is not wheelchair accessible because of the stops that we visit.
Besides tasting delicious food, what will we learn from the tour?
You will learn and experience many things! Our tours combine architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into a unique 3-hour experience. Imagine walking through the city eating our local artisans most delicious foods while learning the neighbourhoods from real locals.
Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.
If a food tour is sold out, can I get on a waiting list?
